Hi I’m Isabel!

I’m the artist behind The Inky Koi Studio! Inspired by Michigan’s wild places and my own backyard pond, I handcraft prints, art, and nature-themed accessories designed to spark joy and curiosity. When I’m not carving or printing, you’ll probably find me and my partner rock hunting along the lakeshore, fishing, or enjoying time by the water here in Big Rapids.

WHAT MAKES YOUR APPAREL DIFFERENT?

Most designs are hand carved and hand printed by artist Isabel Karnes using traditional block printing techniques. Because each piece is printed by hand, slight variations make every item unique.

ARE YOUR DESIGNS ORIGINAL?

Yes! Every design is illustrated, carved, and created in-house at The Inky Koi Studio, inspired by Michigan nature, rocks, water, wildlife, and handmade artistry.

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM OR MADE-TO-ORDER PIECES?
